**Description**
The issue is caused by an integer overflow in the NTP daemon, which results in the NTP server returning the wrong date/time offset when a client requests a date/time that is more than 34 years away from the server's time.

For versions prior to 4.0, update to version 4.0 or later to resolve the issue.
