Linux · Linux Kernel · CVE-2012-3552

This can be achieved by sending packets to an application that sets socket options during the handling of network traffic, resulting in slab corruption and system crash.
**Recommendations**
For Linux kernel versions prior to 3.0, update to version 3.0 or later to resolve the issue.
