K-Search · Ke Search · CVE-2005-3868
**Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions**
K-Search versions 1.0 and earlier
**Description**
The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands. This can be achieved via the `term`, `id`, `stat`, and `source` parameters to "index.php", and through the `image` parameters with an add request.
**Recommendations**
For K-Search versions 1.0 and earlier, consider restricting access to the "index.php" endpoint and limiting the use of the `term`, `id`, `stat`, `source`, and `image` parameters until a fix is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using these parameters in the affected API endpoint to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this issue.
