Description The issue allows local attackers to gain privileges due to a lack of user authentication in certain applications, including vuefile, vuepad, dtfile, and dtpad.
Recommendations For HP-UX versions 9.x through 10.x, consider implementing user authentication for the vuefile, vuepad, dtfile, and dtpad applications to prevent unauthorized access. As a temporary workaround, restrict access to these applications until a proper authentication mechanism is in place.
