Description The issue allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service by invoking the ServletExec servlet with a URL containing the "/servlet/" string, which causes an exception if the servlet is already running.

Recommendations For versions 3.0C and earlier, consider restricting access to the /servlet/ API endpoint to minimize the risk of exploitation. As a temporary workaround, avoid using URLs that contain the "/servlet/" string until a fix is available. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this issue.
