Description The issue allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service, specifically memory exhaustion, by generating a large number of SMTP errors. This forces the SMTP session log to grow too large when the Postfix SMTP server is configured to email the postmaster upon SMTP error-induced session termination.

Recommendations For versions prior to 20010228-pl07, update to version 20010228-pl07 or later to resolve the issue.
