Description The issue is related to the cache-limiting function of the unified name service daemon (nsd) and allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service by forcing the cache to fill the disk.

As a temporary workaround, limiting the cache size may help prevent the disk from filling up. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this issue.
