Description The issue allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service or execute arbitrary code via HTTP header field values by exploiting a buffer overflow. This is due to the ability to spoof the safety check for HTTP headers.

Recommendations For IIS versions 4.0 through 5.1, update to a version that includes a fix for this issue to prevent exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
