Description The issue allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service, resulting in a crash, by sending a large number of packets with malformed IP options.

Recommendations For versions 1.5.3 and 1.5.4, consider implementing packet filtering to restrict the number of packets with malformed IP options to minimize the risk of a denial of service. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
