Description: The issue allows remote attackers to bypass authentication for password-protected user folders. This can be achieved by manipulating a URL with a hex-encoded space (%20) and a '.' (%2e) at the end of the filename.

Recommendations: For Savant Web Server versions 3.1 and earlier, update to a version later than 3.1 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to password-protected user folders until a patch is available.
