Description: The issue is related to the prefork MPM in Apache 2, which does not properly handle certain errors from the accept() function. This can lead to a denial of service, particularly in servers with multiple listening sockets where a certain error returned by accept() on a rarely accessed port can cause a temporary denial of service.
Recommendations: For Apache 2 versions prior to 2.0.47, update to version 2.0.47 or later to resolve the issue.
