Description: A buffer overflow issue exists in the search.cgi component of mnoGoSearch, allowing remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by providing a long ul parameter.

Recommendations: For mnoGoSearch version 3.1.20, consider restricting access to the search.cgi component until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using long values for the ul parameter in the search.cgi API endpoint. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this issue.
