Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: MySQL MaxDB versions prior to 7.5.00.18
Description: The issue allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service, resulting in a crash. This is achieved by sending an HTTP request to the webdbm endpoint with high ASCII values in the Server field, which triggers an assert error in the IsAscii7 function.
Recommendations: For versions prior to 7.5.00.18, update to version 7.5.00.18 or later to resolve the issue.
