Description: The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary PHP code by modifying the doc parameter to reference a URL on a remote web server that contains the code. This is a result of a remote file inclusion vulnerability in the index.php file.

Recommendations: For GNUBoard versions 3.39 and earlier, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the index.php file until a patch is available. Avoid using the doc parameter in the affected API endpoint until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
