Description A cross-site scripting (XSS) issue allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML. This can be achieved via the postdays parameter to "viewtopic.php" or the topicdays parameter to "viewforum.php".

Recommendations For phpBB versions 2.0.6d and earlier, update to a version later than 2.0.6d to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the "viewtopic.php" and "viewforum.php" endpoints until a patch is available. Avoid using the postdays and topicdays parameters in the affected API endpoints until the issue is resolved.
