Description The issue allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML. This can be achieved via the HTTP REFERER parameter to "login.php" or "register.php", or the target parameter to "profile.php".

Recommendations For Phorum versions 3.1 through 5.0.3 beta, consider restricting access to the vulnerable parameters HTTP REFERER in "login.php" and "register.php", and the target parameter in "profile.php" to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
