Description The issue allows local users to overwrite arbitrary files via a symlink attack on a temporary file created by a system call to wget. This is a result of a symlink attack vulnerability.

Recommendations For everybuddy versions 0.4.3 and earlier, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting the use of the wget system call until a patch is available. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
