Description A design error allows user-assisted attackers to execute arbitrary code by overlaying a malicious new window above a file download dialog box, then tricking the user into double-clicking on the "Run" button, also known as "link hijacking".

Recommendations For Opera versions 8.01 and earlier, consider disabling the ability to overlay new windows above file download dialog boxes as a temporary workaround until a patch is available. Restrict access to the "Run" button to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
