Description The issue allows attackers to obtain the password using a debugger or another mechanism to read process memory, as the password is stored in plaintext in memory by grpWise.exe.

As a temporary workaround, restrict access to the system where the Novell GroupWise client is running to minimize the risk of exploitation.
