Description A denial of service issue occurs on the login page of HP Systems Insight Manager when accessed with Microsoft Internet Explorer that has the MS04-025 patch applied, resulting in a browser hang. This issue does not appear to involve an external attacker.

Recommendations For HP Systems Insight Manager (SIM) versions 4.0 through 4.1, consider using an alternative web browser until a resolution is provided. As a temporary workaround, restrict access to the login page to minimize the risk of browser hangs.
