Description The issue allows local users to gain privileges by storing authentication credentials in plaintext in the postfix.log file when authenticating users via secure SMTP.

Recommendations For Kolab Server versions 2.0.1 and 2.0.2, update to a version later than 2.0.2 to resolve the issue. For Kolab Server development versions prior to 2.1-20051215, update to a version later than 2.1-20051215 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the postfix.log file to minimize the risk of exploitation.
