Description The issue allows remote attackers to include arbitrary files via a .. (dot dot) sequence and trailing NULL (%00) byte in the lang parameter. This is a directory traversal vulnerability in the init.inc.php file.

Recommendations For Coppermine Photo Gallery versions 1.4.3 and earlier, consider restricting access to the lang parameter in the init.inc.php file until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using the lang parameter with a .. (dot dot) sequence and trailing NULL (%00) byte to minimize the risk of exploitation.
