Description The issue allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via vulnerable parameters. Specifically, the list id parameter in "mailadmin.cgi" and the form id parameter in "templates.cgi" are affected.

Recommendations For SibSoft CommuniMail versions 1.2 and earlier, consider restricting access to the "mailadmin.cgi" and "templates.cgi" scripts until a fix is available. Avoid using the list id and form id parameters in the affected scripts to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this issue.
