Description The issue allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML. This can be achieved via the username, CFTOKEN, and CFID parameters in specific API endpoints, such as "index.cfm" and "chat.cfm".

Recommendations For FlexChat versions 2.0 and earlier, consider restricting access to the "index.cfm" and "chat.cfm" endpoints until a fix is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using the username, CFTOKEN, and CFID parameters in these endpoints to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this issue.
