Description The issue allows local users to cause a denial of service, resulting in a system crash. This is related to the HID0 attention enable on PPC970 systems at boot time.
Recommendations For Linux kernel versions 2.4.x through 2.4.33.0, update to version 2.4.33.1 or later. For Linux kernel versions 2.6.x through 2.6.17.8, update to version 2.6.17.9 or later.
