Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Joomla! versions prior to 1.0.11
Description The issue is related to "Injection Flaws" and affects multiple components of Joomla!. The problem areas include:
  • the use of include once() instead of require() in globals.php,
  • the $options variable,
  • Admin Upload Image,
  • the ->load() function,
  • content submissions when the frontpage is selected,
  • the mosPageNav constructor,
  • saveOrder functions,
  • the absence of "exploit blocking rules" in .htaccess, and
  • the Access Control List (ACL).
Recommendations For versions prior to 1.0.11, update to version 1.0.11 or later to resolve the issue.
