Description: The issue allows remote attackers to delete the virtual directory of an arbitrary site or create an arbitrary forum virtual directory. This can be achieved by modifying the ForumID parameter in the "disableforum" action in "DisableForum.asp" or by using an empty ForumID parameter in the "enableforum" action in "EnableForum.asp". The API endpoints involved are "DisableForum.asp" and "EnableForum.asp".

Recommendations: For Hosting Controller versions prior to 6.1 Hotfix 3.3, apply Hotfix 3.3 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the "DisableForum.asp" and "EnableForum.asp" endpoints to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the ForumID parameter in these endpoints until the issue is resolved.
