Description The DNS module in the affected appliances allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service, resulting in a reboot, via a malformed DNS message.

Recommendations For versions 3.0 up to 3.0/29, restrict access to the DNS module to minimize the risk of exploitation. For versions 3.1 through 3.3, consider disabling the DNS module until a fix is available. For version 4.0, avoid using the DNS module until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
