Description The issue is related to multiple stack-based buffer overflows in the BRWOSSRE2UC.dll ActiveX Control. This can be exploited by remote attackers to execute arbitrary code. The exploitation can occur through a long string in the astrVerion parameter to the SendChatRoomOpt function or the astrDownDir parameter to the SendDownLoadFile function.

Recommendations For Sina UC versions 2006 and earlier, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this issue.
