Description The issue allows remote attackers to connect and issue arbitrary IPMI commands when Intelligent Platform Management Interface (IPMI) is enabled, possibly triggering a denial of service.
Recommendations For Intel Enterprise Southbridge 2 Baseboard Management Controller (BMC) versions prior to 20070119, update to a version released after 20070119. For Intel Server Boards versions prior to 20070119, update to a version released after 20070119. For OEM Firmware for Intel Enterprise Southbridge Baseboard Management Controller versions prior to 20070119, update to a version released after 20070119. As a temporary workaround, consider disabling IPMI until a patch is available.
