Description: The issue allows remote attackers to bypass authentication and gain administrator privileges. This can be achieved by obtaining a valid session identifier and setting the uid parameter to 1.

Recommendations: For Advanced Poll versions 2.0.0 through 2.0.5-dev, consider restricting access to the admin/index.php endpoint until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using the uid parameter in the affected endpoint to minimize the risk of exploitation.
