Description The issue prevents GNUMail from properly distinguishing between signed and unsigned portions of OpenPGP messages with multiple components. This allows remote attackers to forge the contents of a message without detection.

Recommendations For versions 1.1.2 and earlier, update to a version that properly handles the --status-fd argument when invoking GnuPG to prevent message forgery.
