Description: The issue allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service, resulting in a client or server crash, by sending malformed requests to the daemon port. The affected ports are 1346/udp and 1347/udp.

Recommendations: For Symantec Ghost Solution Suite versions 2.0.0 and earlier, consider restricting access to the daemon port to minimize the risk of exploitation. As a temporary workaround, limit incoming traffic on ports 1346/udp and 1347/udp until a fix is available. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
