Description The issue is a stack-based buffer overflow that allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code. This is achieved by sending a long string in a 0xf007 packet for the challenge B query, which can lead to arbitrary code execution.

Recommendations For Rebellion Asura engine versions 1.0 and earlier, consider restricting access to the challenge B query until a fix is available. For Prism versions 1.1.1.0 and earlier, avoid using the 0xf007 packet for the challenge B query until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
