Description The issue concerns buffer overflows in the login mechanism of the SIDVault LDAP Server, allowing remote attackers to execute arbitrary code through crafted LDAP packets. This can be achieved by sending a long dc entry in an LDAP bind.

Recommendations For versions prior to 2.0f, update to version 2.0f or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the LDAP bind mechanism to minimize the risk of exploitation.
