Description: A cross-site scripting (XSS) issue exists in the API pretty-printing mode, allowing remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via unspecified vectors.
Recommendations: For MediaWiki versions 1.8.0 through 1.8.4, update to a version outside of this range to resolve the issue. For MediaWiki versions 1.9.0 through 1.9.3, update to a version outside of this range to resolve the issue. For MediaWiki versions 1.10.0 through 1.10.1, update to a version outside of this range to resolve the issue. For MediaWiki versions 1.11 before 1.11.0, update to version 1.11.0 or later to resolve the issue.
