Description The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via the sortby parameter to (1) "forumdisplay.php" or (2) a results action in "search.php". This is due to multiple eval injection vulnerabilities.

Recommendations For MyBB versions 1.2.10 and earlier, avoid using the sortby parameter in the affected API endpoints until the issue is resolved. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to "forumdisplay.php" and "search.php" to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
