Description The issue allows attackers to cause a denial of service, resulting in a dom0 panic, by sending certain traffic to the ssm i emulation in Xen on IA64 architectures. This has been demonstrated using an FTP stress test tool.
Recommendations For Xen version 5.1, consider restricting access to the ssm i emulation to minimize the risk of exploitation until a patch is available.
