Description A heap-based buffer overflow issue exists in the QvodInsert.QvodCtrl.1 ActiveX control (QvodInsert.dll) of QVOD Player. This issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a long URL property.

Recommendations For versions prior to 2.1.5 build 0053, update to version 2.1.5 build 0053 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the QvodInsert.QvodCtrl.1 ActiveX control until a patch is applied.
