Description The issue allows local users to overwrite arbitrary files via a symlink attack on various temporary files, including /tmp/SciLink#####1, /tmp/SciLink#####2, /tmp/SciLink#####3, /tmp/*.#####, /tmp/*.#####.res, /tmp/*.#####.err, and /tmp/*.#####.diff. This is related to the scilink, scidoc, and scidem scripts.
