Description The issue allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service, resulting in an application crash, by sending a crafted IPv6 packet using either the TCP or ICMP protocol when the -v option is enabled.

Recommendations For versions prior to 2.8.5.1, update to version 2.8.5.1 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider disabling the -v option to minimize the risk of exploitation.
