Description The issue allows remote attackers to bypass intended access restrictions by requesting an item. This occurs due to the software checking parent ACLs in certain inappropriate circumstances during the processing of hierarchical ACLs.

Recommendations For MoinMoin versions 1.7.x through 1.7.2, update to version 1.7.3 or later. For MoinMoin versions 1.8.x through 1.8.2, update to version 1.8.3 or later.
