Description The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands. This can be achieved via the bid[] parameter in a "lend request" or "save lend request" action to "index.php", the id parameter in a "mdownload" or "downitsf" action to "index.php", or the searchtext parameter in a "search" action to "index.php".

Recommendations For BookLibrary Basic (com booklibrary) version 1.5.3, update to a version newer than 1.5.3 2010 06 20 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the vulnerable parameters bid[], id, and searchtext in the affected API endpoints until a patch is available.
