Description A cross-site scripting (XSS) issue exists in the fix non standard entities function within the KSES HTML text cleaning library. This allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via crafted HTML entities.

Recommendations For Moodle versions 1.8.x through 1.8.11, update to version 1.8.12 or later. For Moodle versions 1.9.x through 1.9.7, update to version 1.9.8 or later.
