Description The issue allows remote authenticated administrators to execute arbitrary code through shell metacharacters in the FQDN field of a 'Device' or the 'Vertical Label' field of a Graph Template. This can be exploited by injecting malicious commands in these fields.

Recommendations For versions prior to 0.8.7f, update to version 0.8.7f or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the FQDN field of a 'Device' and the 'Vertical Label' field of a Graph Template to minimize the risk of exploitation.
