Description The issue arises from the ThemeInstalledInfoBarDelegate::Observe function in Google Chrome, which does not properly handle incorrect tab interaction by an extension. This allows user-assisted remote attackers to cause a denial of service, resulting in an application crash, via a crafted extension.

Recommendations For Google Chrome versions prior to 8.0.552.224, update to version 8.0.552.224 or later to resolve the issue. For Chrome OS versions prior to 8.0.552.343, update to version 8.0.552.343 or later to resolve the issue.
