Description The issue allows remote authenticated users to affect confidentiality. It enables attackers to bypass security restrictions, execute arbitrary SQL commands, and access confidential data.
Recommendations For Oracle Database Server versions 11.1.0.7 through 11.2.0.4, update to a version that includes the necessary security patches. For Oracle Database Server version 12.1.0.1, update to a version that includes the necessary security patches. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to sensitive data and SQL commands to minimize the risk of exploitation.
