Description The issue allows remote authenticated users to cause a denial of service, resulting in the mysqld daemon crash, by sending a crafted LOAD DATA INFILE request that generates SQL errors. The vulnerable software sends an OK packet in response to such requests.

Recommendations For Oracle MySQL versions 5.1 before 5.1.49, update to version 5.1.49 or later. For Oracle MySQL versions 5.5 before 5.5.5, update to version 5.5.5 or later.
