Description A cross-site scripting (XSS) issue exists, allowing remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the tag parameter in the Common Services Device Center.

Recommendations For versions prior to 8.6, update to version 8.6 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the vulnerable com.cisco.nm.help.ServerHelpEngine servlet to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the tag parameter in the affected API endpoint until the issue is resolved.
