Description The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands via shell metacharacters in a hostname obtained from a DHCP message.

Recommendations For versions prior to 5.2.12, update to version 5.2.12 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting the handling of hostnames from DHCP messages to minimize the risk of exploitation.
